About Orbit Dental

Orbit Dental is a dental referral and rewards service for Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. It is not a dental clinic: Orbit matches new patients with verified partner dental clinics, confirms an up-front insurance estimate, and sends a free reward after a qualifying new-patient visit is completed.

What is Orbit Dental?

Orbit Dental is a referral and rewards service, not a dental office. Orbit routes new patients to licensed, verified partner dental clinics across Toronto and the GTA and provides up-front insurance estimates so there are no surprise out-of-pocket costs. All dental care is provided by the independent partner clinic you choose.

How does the Orbit Dental rewards program work?

You complete a short eligibility form, add your insurance details in a secure online portal and accept your clinic’s cost estimate there, attend a new-patient visit at a verified partner clinic, and Orbit sends your reward within 1–2 weeks after the clinic confirms your visit is complete and the insurance payment has been received. The process has four steps:

1. Check your eligibility: complete the quick form on our home page or call us to get matched with a partner clinic near you.
2. Review your estimate: complete a quick, secure online-portal intake with your insurance details. The clinic prepares your cost estimate, and you review and accept it in the portal before you book.
3. Attend your visit: complete a new-patient visit (comprehensive exam, x-rays, and a hygiene cleaning) at the partner clinic.
4. Receive your reward: complete your visit and leave a review; once the clinic confirms your visit is complete and the insurance payment has been received, Orbit sends your reward within 1–2 weeks (this can take until the end of the following month).

Who is Orbit Dental for?

Orbit Dental is for new patients 18 or older in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area who are due for a dental check-up. Most visits are covered by private insurance or the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP); patients without insurance receive a clear cost breakdown before booking.

• Privately insured patients: Orbit confirms your coverage and estimates any out-of-pocket cost up front.
• CDCP patients: partner clinics accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan.
• Patients without insurance: you get a clear cost breakdown before you commit to anything.

Who pays for the reward?

The reward, a $150 gift card, or a pair of AirPods 4 at participating Toronto clinics, is provided by Orbit, not by the dental office. The service is free to patients, and the reward is separate from your care: your clinic simply provides your check-up and bills your insurance as usual.

• The reward is funded by Orbit Dental, never by your dentist.
• There is no cost to the patient for using Orbit’s matching or estimate service.
